Eye catchy

It was almost time for me to get home. In a few minuets time I was walking out of the office, with my friend, towards the bus stop. The bus stop was not very far from the office; nevertheless the distance is immaterial when you are with a comfortable companion.

Back in the bus stop, we were waiting for the next bus as one passed us by when we were in the middle of crossing the road. Finally one came and managed to get in and sit on a reasonable seat by the shutter; which in my opinion is the best place to sit in a vehicle.

In the bus, satisfied with the ‘seating arrangements’, we once again fell in to conversation. It was after a while that I realized I was staring at this person while listening to my friend. It hit me right after I realized he was staring back at me, and so I felt a bit embarrassed that I looked away to concentrated my eyes elsewhere. Few moments passed and once again I found him staring from across and again I knew it was me who started it.

I looked away hastily, thinking why my eyes always rested there. Come to think of it, there wasn’t anything significant in that face. Then again, his red color t-shirt came to my mind, quite clearly - may be it was that which caught my eye. And red was an eye-catching color; fair enough.

Now that I'm brooding over it - in my bed, ready to fall asleep and enjoy numerous dreams – it was not an unusual incident for me. I find my self staring at something or someone without my notice of doing so when talking or listening; rather when jabbering. I try to avoid it, especially when it comes to staring at people. But guess it’s not possible. Just happens. It could be a
scratch, a dress, a shoe, fingers, hair, anything...

Fancy how the mind works... god knows what else unless I stop to think.

Amazing Experience

Finally I finished reading Deathly Hallows. I tried my best to take time as much as possible to finish it so that it will stay a little longer. The anxiety, suspense, curiosity… It’s the final book so I didn’t want it to end all of it soon. But now it’s all over and what can I say. It was great, really amazing.

Its not a fairy tale so there’s happiness as well as sadness all balanced. Therefore I cannot call it a happy ending altogether. But I’m satisfied with the whole thing and its great. Out of this world, Bizarre!

The thing so good about it is that although its so not true, it appears to be very much true, alive. Apart from the background of the novel which is witchcraft and so on, it has a very interesting story, the theme being death.” The theme of how we react to death, how much we fear it”, as Rowling puts it. And it’s almost amazing how the writer has woven it so perfectly that everything fits together so well. All credit goes to J.K. Rowling.

I really like her style of writing as well, especially the sarcasm and humor.
Enjoyed reading it very much.

Which one is better? Is it violence or discussions; the best way to settle a problem? I guess discussions would be the ideal one. But at this very moment my thoughts are otherwise. Discussions would be pretty boring, dull.
Feel like punching every one around me.

And so it is.....

It’s sooooo boring up here.
Enough to make life dull all together.

Starting to hate it.
Nothing interesting to hold on to, not a single thing.
How??? How can this happen?
All dumb questions
This is soooo not good, not good at all.

Boring boring boring.....
Can’t help chanting....
No matter how hard we try, just can’t change what we feel... What it truly is. BORING

And its driving us mad.

Well... c u someday... in a mental hospital (if we get lucky enough to get in to one)

Here it goes again...
Argh! Bbboooooorrriinnggg !!

coool

Hello....

it’s been a while, hasn't it? Its raining like hell out side and I’m here inside in cold.. (the AC is on). Its hot for some people.

moda himali idagena mata wadha denawa..
mata ba methana inna.

Ok I don’t really have anything to do that’s why I’m scribbling away. Listening to songs... with constant nudges from himali. People inside watching outside the window... seems like the place is flooded now..
That means wont be able to go for lectures today.... i had a peek too, it is so...

a different scene here, a contrasting one. Almost every person is near the nearest window.. Chatting laughing.. ahhhs and ooohs instead of the tapping to the keyboard.

Small groups of ppl here and there, talking, pointing outside.. its great

the perfect break of the monotony and dull environment.

Galle road, 15 feet deep in water. No going for lectures.

All i can say now is that I’m glad i stayed at home yesterday and came today. this might change by the time im supposed to go out in rain... ;)
well.. we'll c abt that later ne...
gonna join the crowd (its getting louder and louder), watching the rain fall down and getting flooded.

Have fun....
