4 years ago, during new year visits...

Me: A Degree at so and so place... Its for 5 years ... (puts on a false important/worried face)

The following year, during new year visits...

Relations: What year are you now in?
Me: 2nd... (Repeats some details which were already mentioned last year)

And the following year, during new year visits...

Relations: How many years more?
Me: (A dull) 3

The year after, during new year visits....

Relations: When are you gonna finish your degree?
Me: Year after the next... (feeling relieved...there's more time to worry...)

THIS YEAR, during new year visits...

Relations: When are you going to finish?
Me: *Gulp* Next year...

I miss you

it was quite a something...

Last year i would say was one of the most happening and exciting years of my life. There were lots of first timers;
was at the place where Lord Buddha achieved enlightenment and other sacred places.
first time i flew n went out of country
first time i went on the "hellena bridge" in Kandy
first time i went to a salon for more than getting a hair cut ;) started doing things that other girls in my age has started doing ages ago...
i danced with my father... ballroom dancing. 'twas kinda awkward coz he had trouble standing straight on his feet...
went on a three day trip n had a great time.
went on a awesome bizarre trip with school friends.
Dancing got a new meaning ;)
I'm still missing all the trips... cant think of one until next September though.
Did lot of mistakes, i regret some of them still. Made a fool out of myself. Heart-breaks and loneliness.
Had lot of other outings...
Verbal fights with the boss. If someone asked whether i want to kick my boss in the ass..., 6 months ago i would have said No, but right now... it's YES YES YESSSS !
And i achieved nothing in-terms of education but with regard to work, i think i have secured a better place, thanx to the person mentioned above more than hard work...
ohh, and me and my colleagues went on a trip... first time ever that team went on an outing.


update - this was written sometime back. on the 2nd of jan to be precise . im bored rite now and just gonna post this. even though the list is incomplete. :|

12.00 PM - staring at the monitor listening to "Blue Eyes" with my head in one hand... almost drowsing.
running out of things to do... then thought of writing down all the things i did from this point onwards.. till i get bored of writing on my boredom :|

12.02 PM listening to "Tum Se Hi" (the whole week) and checking out yahoo news - Decade's Worst Movies. I have watched only one from the list - One Missed Call. Here's the top 10.

12.12 PM started again on the staring... at the mail boxes screen

12.13 PM coughed and back to above..

12.16 PM coughed again.. and listening to "Nagada Nagada"

12.18 a very short chat with a friend

12.20 PM listening to "Ye Ishq Hai"
sneezed twice

12.21 PM going to the WR to blow my nose in peace

12.30 PM back again and checking the next week's roster

12.34 PM going to check on an issue.. a helping hand

12.40 PM issue fixed n back at the seat.. aimlessly clicking... going through the mail box

12.51 PM coughing

2.35 PM ohh got another issue.. from another site :) :)

2.37 PM just remembered.. im supposed to train another one on that site.. so will have to ask her to take care of that issue.. :(

2.46 PM finished the first issue.. and replied to the customer. hmm now what to do...

2.47 PM maybe i'll check on the second issue as well... since my trainee is bit busy..

2.48 PM naah.. maybe i'll just leave it for her.. its not that urgent.. and I'm pressured from my loving "loku thaththa" to get her to attend to my issues as many as possible

2.51 PM ok.. now what should i do.... :O

3.43 PM sending some training materials for my trainee...

4.03 PM should clean my desk.. all of it, next morning. i can see dust near the edges..
maybe.. not tomorrow.. dont feel like dusting with a cold..and a very disturbed nose.

4.05 PM is this procrastination .... *nooooooo its being health conscious

4.10 PM staring.... and coughing

4.12 PM just realised my turbo note colour is as same as one of my friends... going to pick a new colour.. :)

4.16 PM chose a nice purple colour, and now going to get some feedback on it.. :)

4.17 PM got negative feedback.. so gonna change the colour again...

4.21 PM picked a blue colour.. and waiting for feedback..

4.24 PM "loku thaththa" left.. now i can sleep in peace

4.30 PM trying to sing a tune.. with a heavy traffic jam inside my nose

4.38 PM zzzzz... zzz .. *i really should do some thing useful during this time*.. zzz...z....z....

4.55 PM just finished speaking with a client.. he managed to wipe away my sleepiness.... :|

5.05 PM had another chat with the client..

5.08 PM got positive feedback on the new colour of my tubo note :)

5.12 PM chose another colour.. gonna keep that one.

5.14 PM time to go.. at last !

random thoughts

Even if i see you everyday...
each day, each time i see you,
i get the feeling like I'm seeing you after ages..
the excitement is .... :)

today is the last day for this month.. and the next month means.. the month to come after that ends the holidays. I'm so bored and getting more and more lazy each day ;)
anyway i guess its better uni is starting.. coz my parents are getting sick of "me on holiday".

dada has started playing barn buddy on facebook... :D well.. not really... one of his colleagues have set it up for him.

next week is gonna be quite lonely.. (hope there will be more work)

well.. back to the boring routine..

google is not loading for me.. from firefox.. :(


tomorrow, hope to start and and finish my letter to my sweet friend :) she's been waiting for it for ages.
